Introducing new AFO in Haiti

Hi Everyone!
My name is Shiho Wada, newly joined administrative and financial officer at JEN Haiti.
I have been living in Port-au-Prince for past couple months and I am very happy to be working with JEN to support their activities in Haiti.
I have lived abroad since the age of 16 and I hope to have more adventures along the way. I am still new to NGO work, but I hope to learn great deal from my colleagues who are very experienced in the field.

Our office in Leogane is quite big and surrounded by greenery, couple cows and goats hanging outside and very peaceful. There was quite a bit of rain during the month of May and June, but now the rain has stopped and the temperature is over 30 Celsius everyday. However, hurricanes always find a way to come to Haiti, so we will need to be careful with that near future. At last, I wanted to share a photo of the t-shirt we wear at work. It is blue for WATER(?) and explains how to wash your hands properly 
