4 months since the project being launched

It has been four months since the project for water sanitation and environment supported by supporters of JEN andthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan was launched.

At present, people in Haiti hardly have access to clean water, or even if their communities have the facility for water supply, they do not have their own system to maintain it.
Additionally, since the local citizens do not have sufficient knowledge about the sanitation of water, they easily tend to catch diarrhea or become infected with cholera.
JEN continues its assistance to resolve this urgent issues related to water sanitation.   

Sometimes we need to travel on very rough routes to get to the project sites, like shown in this picture.



Explaining to local citizens about water maintenance committee and its significance.



The committees answered every question from local citizens until they could understand completely.
Constructing facilities for water supply (water tank and kiosk) which are nearing completion.
